This translates to an organization known as
CORAZON DE VIDA. Founded by a woman who was once part of the system in Baja, the idea born out of a remarkable woman’s deep sense of gratitude and desire to give back. It is this organization brings the needs of the children front and center to provide the basic necessities and a loving environment to the children in need in the state of Baja.
Mexico does not have a foster care system to support children in need due to neglect, abuse, or abandonment. There is no welfare system to help families with a single parent that is unable to provide for their children. So, the only way to support families and children in need is through a network of orphanages.
